Is the Grief Recovery® seminar right for Bereaved Parents Who Suffered the Death and Loss of a Child?

Indeed, one of the co-founders of The Grief Recovery Institute®, John W. James, founded The Institute in response to the emotions he felt following the death of his son. 

Perhaps someone has said, "You can always have another child..." which may or may not be a true intellectual statement.  But that statement does nothing for the emotional pain you are in, does it?

Perhaps you can relate.  John had been searching and searching the books at the bookstores for resources to help him with the emotional agony and pain from the death of his child.  And yet, the majority of the bereavement and grief books and programs out there take an intellectual approach.  And do nothing to walk us through any practical action steps to complete the variety of emotions surrounding the grief and the death.  Which just leaves you stuck in bereavement, hoping against hope that the myth that "Time Heals All Wounds" and "Keep Busy" are true. 

My own parents lost their first born child.  All too many marriages suffer as well, when a child dies.  Again, because the parents do not know of the Grief Recovery® resources and action step program to help them complete the emotions surrounding their bereavement.  They only have tools which don't address the emotions.  But there is hope for them...
