NEXT GROUP MEETING IN HUNTINGTON BEACH IS FORMING TO START MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2009

The next group is forming now to start Monday, November 2nd.  If you want to be considered to be in the group, please send an email to April at her email address AprilJBraswell (at) AOL (dot) com (that is written out that way just because of the spam bots here on the internet).

In your email to me, please tell me a bit about yourself, your loss(es), and your motivation for seeking Grief work now.

It is never too soon to start, even if your loss was only quite recent in the past month or so.  Nor is it too late with a loss from a number of years ago where, perhaps you or others are thinking, in some way, that you should "be over it" or have "moved on" "by now."  With actually effect bereavement counseling in the Grief Recovery process, you must have another person to actually DO that.  Of course you need help.  It is perfectly normal and natural to want that.

The 12 week Grief Recovery Outreach Seminar in Huntington Beach, CA held at St. Wilfrid's Episcopal Church, Monday evenings, 7-9 pm. The group just ended. As the Labor Day weekend wraps up, we just completed this cycle of the Grief Recovery work bereavement counseling.

Since I have myself been widowed, often other young widows, those widows in their 30s and 40s are most drawn to work with a bereavement counselor who is similar to them in age and the experience of losing a spouse while we are still young.
